CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION TO BE SURE IT IS READY FOR HOSTED VOIP
Your businesses internet speed may be right for your day-to-day operations, but will it be able to handle a VoIP solution? A bad internet connection is one of the most common changes we help clients with when they begin to upgrade their telecommunications to VoIP. DSL service is not recommended for Hosted VoIP. Typically a cable connection or other dedicated type service will work fine. But you can get this first step out of the way before engaging with a company to help with your upgrade.
Simply contact your internet service provider to find out your options in case your telecom provider suggests updating or changing your internet connection. This tip will save you time and prevent your project from moving backwards instead of forwards when you do decide to upgrade.
